what's a feed?

It's technology, man.
Feeds are a way for websites to distribute their content well beyond just their website. Feeds permit subscription to regular updates, delivered automatically via your cell phone, a news reader, or in some cases good ol' fashioned email. Personally, I use iGoogle and Zaptxt to monitor my feeds.
